Plumbers & Steamfitters fabricate, assemble, install, maintain and repair piping systems that transport all types of fluids, slurries, and gas in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Local 157 members are on the job at Purdue Polytech Gateway,P3 Gilbane,Hagerman public private partnership housing,Agriculture Biological Engineering,Science Technology Engineering and Math and Purdue Memorial Union Hotel are just a few of the projects at Purdue University. 

Industrial sites include Subaru Automotive, Wabash National, and the General Electric Plant,Arconic,Heartland Automotive,Evonics,Frito-Lay, and Tate and Lyle North and South plants Commercial work includes Westminster Village, St. Elizabeth Hospital East addition, and Old National Bank.

The 1,047 members serve 16 Indiana counties. Members benefit from a health and welfare plan, national and local pension plans, local savings plan,Health Reimbursement Account, 401(k) retirement plan, and an eye and dental insurance plan.

The local volunteers for United Way, Habitat for Humanity,YWCA, and Labor’s Family Day Picnic among other agencies through-out the community
