Local 668 members handle electrical construction and installation for business, industry, education, and telecommunications  work.

This year they are on the job at several sites on the Purdue campus including Bechtel Innovation Center, the Active Learning Center, Football Performance Complex, Flex Lab facility, and the Rolls Royce  facility.

Industrial work includes Cargill, Caterpillar, Evonik, Subaru Indiana Automotive, and both Tate & Lyle plants. Commercial work includes Westminster Village, Hampton Hotel, Old National Bank, Claystone Apartments, East Tipp Middle School and Tri-County Junior/Senior High School and   elementary.

Road and infrastructure projects include the Big   Four Depot, Main Street City scape, and the State Street Redevelopment project.

IBEW  hangs banners for festivals, installs the downtown holiday lighting each season,and sponsors the Dancing in the Streets festival.

The local also supports Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Salvation Army, YWCA, Union Food Pantry, and the Almost Home Humane  Society.

The 528 members of Local 668 serve Benton, Carroll, Cass, Fulton, Tippecanoe, and White counties. Benefits include overtime pay, family medical plans, optical and dental care, prescription plan, pensions, retirement plans, and death benefits.

The national association is the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
