Carpenters work on a wide variety of jobs including concrete forms, piling, framing (wood or metal), drywall, doors, door hardware, layout, heavy highway, wastewater treatment plants, bridges, scaffolding, and infection control.

Local 215 members are on the job this year at Purdue University’s Honors College, Active Learning Center, Football Performance complex, Creighton Hall, and Flex Lab  Facility.

Commercial work includes Westminster Village, St. Elizabeth Hospital East,Tippecanoe County Courthouse,and Claystone Apartments.Public education work includes East Tipp Middle School, Frankfort High School, and Tri-County High School.

Industrial job sites include Subaru Indiana Automotive and Tate & Lyle. Carpenters are building or repairing infrastructure at many road work sites as well as the Monticello Wastewater Treatment Plant and Norway Dam.

The 300 local members of the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights are skilled on principle and Union by choice.The national association is the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners.  Membership benefits include fair wages and benefits, health insurance, pension and annuity plans.
